Steal our Accountability Chart. Then make it your own.
Every company is built a little differently—whether you run a large General Contractor / EPC or a specialty trade outfit like an Electrical Contractor.
Most org charts are useless boxes with job titles. Below is how we actually wire a company from the crew member turning a wrench at 4:30 PM all the way up to the CEO. Toggle between General Contractor / EPC and Specialty Trade (Electrical) below, and click any box on the chart to open that seat's dark Role Card with its 5 Outcomes, 5 Weekly Scorecard Metrics, and 5 Data-Collection Tools.
One Seat, One Boss
Every person reports to one—and only one—direct leader. When a worker has two bosses, they have no boss.
3–5 Managers / 5–10 Crew
Managers of leaders oversee 3 to 5 direct reports max. Working Foremen lead either 3–5 Crew Leaders or 5–10 Crew Members directly.
5 Chained Outcomes
Every leader's #1 Outcome is Lead, Manage & Hold Accountable (% of Direct Reports Hitting Scoreboard)—chaining the floor to the CEO.
System vs. Systems
One System Manager owns the Company's System (singular) so all individual Systems (plural) work together.
Showing full EPC / General Contracting structure: Pre-Construction Unwrap, PM + Superintendent Co-Pilots, Working Self-Perform Foremen (3–5 Crew Leaders or 5–10 Crew Members), and all 6 Resource Buckets.
Two ways to wire a Foreman's crew (Without ever breaking the 1-Boss Rule).
Superintendent → Foreman → 5–10 Crew Members
When a working Foreman has no Crew Leaders underneath them, they directly lead 5 to 10 Crew Members. Every Crew Member has 0 direct reports and answers strictly to their Foreman.

Superintendent → Foreman → 3–5 Crew Leaders → 5–10 Crew
On larger scopes, a working Foreman leads 3 to 5 Crew Leaders (or Lead Journeymen), and each Crew Leader runs 5 to 10 Crew Members at the workface.
