LEGAL & DATA SECURITY // LAST UPDATED: OCTOBER 2026

Privacy Policy.

At Alacrity Financial Services, LLC d/b/a Alacrity Bookkeepers ("Alacrity," "we," "us," or "our"), we handle sensitive business and financial records for a living. We don't play games with your data, we never sell your contact information, and we never offshore your financial records outside the United States. Here is our plain-English policy on what we collect and how we protect it.

SECTION 01

What Information We Collect on This Website

We collect information in two ways when you visit alacritybookkeepers.com:

  • • Information You Voluntarily Submit: When you fill out our contact form, partner application, or book a call via Calendly, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, website URL, role/seat, team size, current software stack, and any message you share with us.
  • • Anonymous Diagnostic & Site Interaction Data: When you take one of our 2-minute self-assessments (Diagnostics) or click on role cards in our interactive Accountability Chart, our system generates a random session identifier (stored in your browser's localStorage as alacrity_sid) to score your quiz and log anonymous usage metrics. If you later submit a contact form, that session ID links your diagnostic score to your inquiry so we don't have to ask you the same questions twice.
SECTION 02

How We Protect Client Financial & QuickBooks Data

If you become a bookkeeping or systems client, strict operational and technical safeguards apply to your financial data:

  • ✓ Zero Shared Bank Passwords (Plaid Read-Only Feeds): We never ask for or store your raw bank login credentials. All bank, credit card, and loan connections are established via Plaid or official QuickBooks Online encrypted read-only feeds.
  • ✓ 100% US-Based Team: Headquartered in Pensacola, Florida, our entire team is located in the United States. We never offshore or outsource client accounting data overseas.
  • ✓ Role-Based Access & 2FA: Access to QuickBooks Online and Google Workspace environments is restricted to authorized team members using two-factor authentication (2FA).
SECTION 03

How We Use & Share Information

We use the information you provide strictly to:

  • • Respond to your inquiries and conduct 20-minute discovery calls.
  • • Deliver our flat-rate bookkeeping, historical overhaul, and Google Workspace + QuickBooks Online systems services.
  • • Coordinate with your designated Tax CPA, Fractional CFO, banker, or bonding agent when explicitly authorized by you.
  • • Track referrals and pay commissions under our B2B Partner Program.

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information or business financial data to data brokers, advertisers, or third parties.

SECTION 04

Third-Party Tools We Use

Our website and operations rely on trusted infrastructure providers, including Vercel (website hosting), Google Workspace & Google Apps Script (form routing, diagnostic scoring, and productivity tools), Calendly (call scheduling), Intuit QuickBooks Online & QBO Time (accounting and time tracking), and Plaid (read-only financial feeds). Each provider processes data in accordance with their respective security and privacy standards.

SECTION 05

Your Rights & Data Deletion Requests

You may clear your browser's local storage at any time to reset your anonymous session ID. If you have submitted contact information through our website and would like us to update or permanently delete your record from our lead log, email us at hello@alacritybookkeepers.com and we will complete your request promptly.
