Heather Lloyd
Owner & Chief Executive Officer
Heather Lloyd has spent over 30 years in the trenches of accounting, finance, and operations management—sitting on the exact same side of the table as the owners, CFOs, Controllers, and Project Managers she serves today.
Before founding Alacrity Bookkeepers, Heather built her career managing the financial engines of fast-moving, complex organizations—ranging from small local shops up to multi-state builders with $65M+ in revenue. She has served as a General Manager, Financial Controller, Accounting Manager, and Commercial Project Accountant across commercial and residential construction, architecture, custom steel and wood fabrication, retail, healthcare, and non-profit organizations.
Because she has sat in the operational chair, Heather understands that bookkeeping doesn't happen in a vacuum. She has personally managed complex job-costing systems, multi-division QuickBooks overhauls (including re-coding over 80,000 stuck records across six divisions under one roof), AIA G702/G703 progress billing, subcontractor compliance, multi-state sales and use tax, payroll, and insurance and bonding audits. She is also certified in Procore Project Management (Financial Management, Core Tools, and Project Management) and an expert in QuickBooks Online.
Heather earned her Bachelor of Applied Science in Business and Management (Accounting Concentration) and her Associate in Arts from Pensacola State College, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a perfect 4.0 GPA and President's List honors every semester, and is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
